Good luck! Getting a teaching job these days is nearly impossible unless you buy knee pads and blow/lick a few Superintendents. You might find it easier to become a priest! There is a shortage in that field! Think of the benefits; free housing, free vehicle, free money from collections, free dental care, promotions to bishop almost guaranteed, guaranteed room in a church subsidized retirement home, unlimited altar boys. Beats teaching any day.

Got this call from somebody from the TDSB because there is a shortage in my area. Turned him down because I am happy with my pension which I have been getting since the end of the last century then within a week there was a similar call from a woman from Peel, she even wanted to pay my OCT fees. Are they that desperate now or is Covid ravaging the teaching profession? I'm wondering who gave these people my phone # which is not the same I had prior to retirement.
